Meet Alaina

Hey Hey - I’m Alaina like "the rain-a” not Alana like "a-llama."

I am a trauma informed life coach & I've been told I'm like a shekere.

If you're thinking, "What the hell is a shekere?" ...exactly.

It's a West African instrument made from a dried gourd wrapped in beads. Most people live for the invoking thump of the drum. They aren't wrong to. The drum is what sets the pace.

But when the shekere joins in, something wakes up inside the music that was already there - it just couldn't quite be felt yet.

That story has followed me around for years because it's the closest thing I've found to describing how I work .

I help people notice what's happening underneath.

Under the fight, shutdown, resentment and/or people pleasing.

Under the story you are telling yourself about who you aren’t and what’s possible.

For as long as I can remember I've been fascinated by the force beneath our behavior. The parts of us that drive what we protect, desire, avoid, perform, yearn for, or reject before we knew we were doing any of it.

My training started in somatic attachment therapy, but somewhere along the way I became less interested in defending one model and more interested in learning from several different frameworks that help people suffer a little less. So now my work is a remix of somatics, attachment re-patterning, restorative justice, Jungian psychology, and whatever else helps us tell the truth without abandoning ourselves or each other.

Meet PG

Hey, I’m PG. - a ritualist, dreamer and space-holder who facilitates and coaches individuals and groups towards change, ease and freedom.

I believe everything and everyone has the capacity for change. Even mountains that feel immovable erode and shift over time. Trees that have been around for hundreds of years continue adapting in small and big ways to meet each new period.

I ask big questions, hold contradictions, and nurture the learning & unlearning that is needed for individual and collective transformation.

My approach integrates Spirit (in any/all the ways it could be known - nature, God, ancestors, orisha, intuition) to clarify the connections between our current conditions and our destiny/purpose.

The support I offer is about nurturing your inner knowing to navigate struggles, strategy and growth, with culture and spirit at the core of my process. I believe exploring our feelings, narratives and beliefs helps us to better understand how we navigate the world, acknowledge our impact, and build the kinds of relationships we deeply long for.
